Thursday, August 31, 2006 ( Removed the bandage ) This is very freaky. No wonder i have to limp around. There's a layer of blue black near my ankle, that's where, i think, is the 'epicenter' of my injury. All the dead skin.. Need to remove it soon or else maggots will grow on it. Damn.. This is possibly the lowest point in my life right now. Cant do much and im beginning to get easily snapped with temper if anything just aint going right. What's happening to me!!! =( 11:37 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2006 ( Bad Luck ) Maybe it's my carelessness. Or maybe it's due to the fact that it's the 7th lunar month. I dunno, but i'm suffering right now. Sprained my right ankle while playing ball at Pasir Ris. Gosh... At first, it's just a minor sprain, that's what I thought. However, it gotten worst when I reached home. The swell was growing and I was having a hard time walking. Lay down in my room, and contemplating i would never play my favourite sports anymore. It's scary. The pain is unbearable. Now i know how it feels like when Michael Owen suffered the same injury as me. Not actually a sprain la, but its a torn ligament in the ankle area. Now i had visited the sinseh and OMG... Massaged my ankle.. The pain is even worst. I was shedding tears and bearing the pain. Feels like a big needle poking me. I'm resting at home now. But I have to visit the sinseh again on Saturday. Another week to rest and making sure I recovered before the IMF. I dont want to miss this big event. What about my work, I dunno. I already had a big miscommunication with my boss. Not my fault lar... He anyhow told the other managers that I can work the whole month. I pissed. And Im pissed with this injury. Just have to fight on, get myself fit again. Wish me luck. Cheers... 11:05 AM Monday, August 28, 2006 ( A day at the IMF Training ) Today i went to the IMF training at IDA office at Suntec. Thats where the meetings will be held and i have access to the area where a few can enter.. How cool can that be.. Haha... Over at the IDA(For the benefit of the doubt, IDA is the Info-Comm Development Authority, the one that take care of our handphones!), we were thought about the digital and analogue phones that will be use for the whole duration of the meetings... Will be personally inspect and handle telecommunication devices of the 184 delegations converging in Singapore. How cool is that... Learn the connections and went to the central system room to look at the servers.. Freaking cold la. Can't wait for the event to start. Welcome WORLD!! Cheers... 9:16 PM Wednesday, August 23, 2006 ( What a day ) Haha.. As promised.. This is what I did the whole day to get this person a birthday gift. 22nd August I woke up in the morning, about 10am(quite late ar). Realises that if I dont start preparing to go out soon, it'll be too late to regret anything. So. I bathed and whoosh I was on my way to Orchard Road. Took the train, get there in about 45mins or so... Alighted at Somerset Station. First stop: The Heeren. While walking at the carpark in front of the station, my earphones wired was caught entangled with the side car mirror! I was lucky not to get my ear torned off! Hakz... Quickly took off the other earphone from my other ear and de-tangled the mess. Once done, I switched my mp3 on, guess what, my right earphone dont hear anything. Hakz. And I thought I somehow i spoilt my right ear but NO(Thank GOD), that right earphone cant work anymore! What's worst, I just got that earphone the day before! Sheesh.. Just hard luck lar... But my mind was set on getting a gift. So I chucked my mp3 player into my bag and off into The Heeren. My first thought was to proceed to a bag shop coz thats where I could get, what I hope would be a nice gift. So I stopped at this wallet shop in yellow(cant remember the name liao), peek into the shop and saw this nice Billabong bag. But then, the design kinda look weird so I skipped that. While going up the escalator, saw the Adidas Boutique! I alomost forgotten that they had one in The Heeren. But i was thinking of getting that bag first so i move along in finding a bag. Went to 77th street but there was loads of crap in there. Since there was nothing interesting, when back to the Adidas store and take a look at the brand new Liverpool FC kits. The jersies, the training shirt, the polo tee... *Heart melts in sorrow*... I just cant buy them. actually I can la... But rather not.. Haha Then I saw it... This bag, 2 types of color, black orange, and pure orange. I was thinking how unique the design was since it's the first time that kind of design came out(Just ask me, I LOVE Adidas!). So I took it and inspected it. Nice layout, comfortable to the touch BUT there were 2 straps on it. I was looking for a sling bag. So I went to look at another bag and saw this small bag. Quite trendy. However, I dont think a small bag would be ideal. Alas, I had up my mind to get that first bag I picked up. But there were other Adidas Boutique in Orchard so I walk all the way to Taka to find another similar design just to see whether they have any other color. But that store quite small de.. Not many choices... While thinking and thinking about whether to buy that bag, my mind told me to go to City Hall to look for the other Adidas stores. So I followed my mind and actually walked all the way there. Just dont want to spent my concession on such a small trip. Wanna took bus but I just hate crowds. So I walked there. Past the Istana entrance. And... Surprise surprise!!! I was on time to witness the changing of ceremonial guards at the 2 outposts... First time sia.. Those officers look damn cool!!! Wanna be like them!!! Haha... Then when I reached City Hall, when to Citylink Mall's Adidas store to look for that same bag... and thats where i found out the price of that bag... And after realising the cost, i was smiling to myself. Told myself to get this bag. but i have one more adidas store yet to go, thats at suntec. So i walked there... To my horror... The store was closed. It reads, "the store will be closed on 22nd August as we have our company event on that day". Was upset man... But what the heck. Somebody will gonna be upset more if I dun get something, so i walked back. Then I realise Im next to Marina Square. Thinking whether there have something, I made a little detour... In Marina Square.. was walking when i realised that there is the Creative store, and since my earpiece is no longer working, I made my way there. I was so impressed by the collectins lor... Tried on some headphones.. was gonna buy this headphone when i spotted this neck strap earphones... Since its cheaper, I bought it... Haha... The salersperson kept reminding me that its a neck strap that must be put on.. Do I look like a tech retard..? LoL... Then in the end, couldn't find anything there. At least I got a new pair of earphones!!! So off i went back to citylink mall's adidas. Right now, I'm very tired typing but i must end it asap or there'll be no more time. So i just will type all in low caps kie... Made my way to purhase the bag without any hesitations. But the Liverpool polo was distracting me too much and was comptemplating whether to buy or not. Then i agreed with myself to buy it next time. And Now, got the bag.. But kinda missing something. So i thought of buying a bear!!! Went to hallmark and thots but nothing fascinating. So went to Boon Lay, to Jurong Point and spent more time there looking for something. And there it is, at this shop, bought the bear.. The bear has a basket in front so i bought a card and sweets to make it more nicer.. sweeter the betta mah..? Then the trickiest part of all.. getting to the place... took the bus and was busy peering out the window... Luckily, saw the sign that matches. Alighted and somehow i alighted like one stop before the ACTUAL stop.. haha.. so walk there, basking at the thought that i actually spent a whole day de... at the void deck, took out the gifts and began to deco a bit.. write something in the card and putting sweets in the basket.. haha.. then put the bear into the bag... found the house just the way it was described. A bit tricky since i was holding a big bag and the door frame was small.. cant expect me to leave it outside right.. even the neighbor stared at me with suspicion.. haha.. scary but not that much.. managed to get everything inside the house...(cant tell my secret or else the house will have junk inside)... Saw that my plan ha ran successfully... was waling back to the bus stop when my boss called... 'asked' me to work.. haiz... wad to do... Work lor.. haha.. Cheers... 11:48 PM Monday, August 21, 2006 ( Finally its over ) However, I still will be busy with my other commitments so can't look forward to a nice rest at home or at a beach looking at the sunset. Haiz.. Miss the sunset. When I was in Japan, that's the only thing I did that could make me have some peace of mind. If only i could stop time, even for a minute, i could enjoy my litle precious freedom from all the things Ive been doing. Never know how much time I have left. Heex... Well, for now, I'm really nervous about my club's camp. Had planned it NEXT WEEK, but there has been no updates since our last meeting. Wonder what my President and his deputy are doing.. Hope they get the rooms. Or we'll be sleeping outside. Which I don't mind actually. =) Well, time for me to have enough sleep. Gonna have a briefing down at SPRING Singapore building. Got a job to be emcee for some corporate event. A contest it seems. Hakz... Chiao... 1:59 PM Saturday, August 19, 2006 ( Just one more day till... ) Been a little cranky and blur and sensitive nowadays. Exams are one thing, but I still have my other commitments as well. I really have to apologise to my peeps if I can't meet you people out. Just too busy(even during my hols). I cant help it but feel upset when people called me 'stupid'. Its not me, I mean, not my language to call others bad names, but I kinda find it rude to call your friends stupid openly when I know you know you meant it as a bull remark. Just plain bullshit la. When people say I have the confidence and express myself properly doesn't mean I have no feelings. Right here typing in my blog of how crazy the world can be. How mean people are, and inconsiderate remarks they made in public. Where is the modesty and tolerance? What am I talking about? Haiz.. Dunno lar.. My mood now, discrete rectangular waves, non-periodic. For those who understand, you're a genius. To those who doesn't, well, only people in my course would understand it. Well, this post im creating is exceptionally llllooooooonnnnnnggggggggg.... Not that I have nothing better to do. I just have to express all those bad things that ive been bottling up in me. I have friends, close friends. But I just cant talk it out to them, just end up arguing who's right and wrong. I miss those times when I feel I can do anything I wanted. Now that thought can only be expressed in words. Right now, my friends had once again been nagging me why I don't have a companion. God dammit!!! Why cant they just understand, and experience MY life. I'm not what I used to be. I don't want to hurt myself nor anybody's feeling anymore. I gone through that period of losing someone, and that has been a grim reminder of my past. I learned my past, and I deserved it. Right now, even though I have made a close relationships with my female friends, I rather let it slip through my fingers. I don't deserved any girl's love. The more I think about it, the more I feel that there is still somethings that I need to straighten out first. Unless that girl don't mind me, then let's see how it goes from there. What else I wanna say yar? Ok, I've not been updatin my blog for a while. Tend to update it like once a week. I think it came out in the news but i missed it.. Cool man... Reminds me of NDP 05 when I participated in... Shiok to see the crowds, but the crowd then was not as huge as those at the National Stadium... Haiz.. Im gonna miss the National Stadium. The last time I attended the National Day Parade there was when Singapore was just 25 years... Now, it's 41!!! Tears welled up in my eyes... To see this national icon gonna be gone... Countless soccer matches and SEA games held there.. Just memories.. However, i feel it's the right thing to do.. Changes are inevitable... Sacrifies have to be made. Well, Happy Birthday Singapore.
