Religion, race and love.

This is the latest thinking I've been doing lately.

Let me start with this.

This guy, full of ideas, intelligent, hardworking. Not really that good-looking, a bit on the plump side... Importantly, hold true to his religion, bounded by its faith.

This girl, from another race, charismatic, faithful, beautiful... Also bounded by religion.

They met, and they have a liking to each other.

They start to go on dates, making curious and sometimes, hated stares from the poeple surrounding them.

Now, my question is, do they have the right to be together?

Right now, I'm thinking about it. Listening. Researching.

How could two very different souls find a liking to each other?

Is it possible?

It's something which I feel it needed to be addressed.

We live in a multi-racial community, not to mention, multi-religion.

And when two different people from two very different culture, believes, meet,

what can we do to resolve a longstanding taboo about cross-cultural togetherness?

I find it disgusting that some prefer to be introverts, I'm not talking about the race, but the very person itself. They say, it's their culture. They couldnt change it. But the very people that say's, "We cant change it as it's our culture", embrace changes to their everyday life. From new technologies, to the very lifestyles that shaped their lives. Why cant they change to make a bigger better brighter place for all to live?

I maybe biased, I accept criticisms. But that doesnt change how people can ignore the facts that the world is ever changing. Simple, half a year ago, we have 1500kbps for internet connections. Half a year later, we have 100Mbps internet connections. How fast can we ever cope with this rate?

What I'm trying to say is, hold true to what you believe in. I hold mine with honour. I'll never leave my religion, never forgets. I swear to God.

Why am I bringing up this topic?

I'm not sure.

Maybe due to that disturbing tag i received( which has been deleted, sorry, too sensitive ).

It question my faith, the very thing that kept me sane.

Why cant a man decide what he should, and should not do?

Yes, I did sins, mistakes, regrets that till now i have dreams of it.

But I prayed, prayed that somehow, The Almighty listens. Forgive me for the actions I've made.

What about you my friend?

The one that insults me.

You maybe someone who is religious enough.

But dont tell me that you've done NOTHING WRONG?!

Insulting a person, insulting his faith, you have done wrong. Did you think of that?

I feel pity for you. Coz a person who says he's religious can sometimes ignore the warning in his heart that insulting another is a sin, greater than one that has his heart plucked out from his chest. what a shame. You write taht you're ashamed. I too feel the same way, towards you. For you have undeniably forsake the faith you have been brought with.

Faith, religion, Islam, Allah(SWT), Muhammad(PBUH), pureness.

These are the very things that I love most.

I fear most.

I hold true to my heart, forever till I drew my last breath.

Ok, its not the first time I've been crapping myself.

Being a wised-up kid trying to be fabulously smart.

I'm not. I admit it, sadly.

I always wanted to be like some character from TV. Like Horatio in CSI: Miami, Micheal Scofield from Prisonbreak etc etc. Cool dudes with an extraordinary talent to be cool, especially Horatio.

I tried to be like them, to be cool, to be able to think when under pressure.

But I am who I am.

No worries, it's not that I'm depressed or something.

Just have the urge to say something about myself.

(Hehe, after a few years of soul-searching and I finally say something about myself)

Well,

maybe because I've been wanting to earn myself something that I could say I'm proud off.

I want to be able to contribute and being recognised for the effort that I've gone through.

Maybe I'm blind and didnt realised that I've been recognised for my efforts, but still I feel I want more.

It's not enough. More more more.

Haha...

Ok, crapping again.

Sometimes I feel kinda alone in my thinking.

But now...

I met YOU.

The first time I met you while at work. I feel like you have something special.

And we jokingly said we meant for each other. But the funny thing is, I do feel like that is something true. The irony...

I'm not sure of myself right now. I'm confused. Lost. I crave for love, from someone that I can call mine. But, (there's always a But)

I want to commit myself to my studies. Work. Family.

But You, I feel You can be part of my life now. We can work this out together. But how?

A friend said that I'm a "man full of ideas". Maybe I could whipped up an idea to satisfy both our lives together?

Real strange that I actually can think of you right now.

Dont worry, the next date, I'm gonna make this another memorable event just for both of us.

Like I said it before, "I'll make your day a special one that makes the other girls envy of you"

My family and I went to Escape theme park for an outing during christmas day.

Reached early I guess.

Not many people there.

So I get on the a ride.

Cant remember what's the ride called.

Just a 2-seater and will turn upside-down when the whole thing spins.

A bit bored with that ride, no kick.

But thats a warm up.

Nect try on this ride, with tea-cups.. Haha..

Ok la, got a couple seating beside me..

I guess they were pissed off coz they're not alone. Haha...

You know what I mean, so stop that smirk from your face! =)

So finally try on the Go-Kart, did a bit of swerve (accidental), this driver lose control and hit the sideroad, block the road after the ramp. Just about to overtake the 2nd driver. Haha.. there goes the race...

But hey, i enjoy the fun there.

Had lunch at Tampiness Mall, at Seoul Garden. Food a bit dull. But had fun whipping up a few (creative) dishes with the ice-cream. Gotta hand to me, ppl were staring at me. Haha..

Love that attention. Kekez..

Embarrassing but funny.

Theme of the day was to have FUN!

So yar, i achieved that!

For how long since I have fun huh?

How to mend a broken heart.

1. Forgiveness - Forgive YOURSELF for all the wrong that you feel you did during you relationship and then forgive the the OTHER PERSON for any wrong you feel they did.

2. Self-esteem rebuilding - Work on re-building your SELF-ESTEEM.

3. Aloneless - Be ALONE. Feel the LONELINESS. Give yourself some healing time and work on mending your broken heart one step at a time. You will mend over time and you WILL find love again. Be PATIENT with yourself. The more you work at forgiveness and you learn how to move forward in life, the heart will mend and become open again.

Just wanna share these tips for those broken-hearted people out there. We all gone through that stage over and over again do we? Kinda hard to find that special someone when everyone is materialistically-focus, promotionally-focus or just play-hard-to-get.

I'm not saying that everyone are the same. Just everyone has their own special needs, special interests. In this world, I guess there are a few that shares one's same interest. But commitment wise, thats another different story. My friends dont read my log anymore so I'm not worried what they think. For you who is reading this, let's just say that when it comes to love, it's a risk everyone have to come across and will win it. Just a matter of time that we all find that soulmate of ours. Waiting in the abyss, waiting for each other to let each other's soul...
