( Leadership )

Assuming leadership is like, to me, risking oneself for the betterment of others.
Ask anyone who is/was a leader. Lee Kuan Yew perhaps?
i think he sacrificed a lot for this country.
Credit to him, 40 years from a 3rd world nation to 1st world.
It's on hell of a sacrifice he made.
For me, maybe I have that natural ability to take charge and lead.
From Primary school to now, Poly, I have been a leader across the fields, from sports to academics.
It's really an honour to see myself that way, gaining respect and love from your peers as well as the others.
But, the sacrifices I've made, not as much as LKY, but enough to make me ponder,
What is my destiny?

( Phantom of the Opera )

I went to see, to see a drama
A gentleman, with half a scare
Across his face and he,
covers with a mask..
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA..
Ohh the songs are all stuck in my head...
Very nice opera in deed..
Haha...
Although the music can make u feel sleepy.
I just love the combination of Arts, Music and Pyro all into one.
A triple combo feast for the eyes and ears.
Gentleman, there is no such thing as the Phantom.
Wahahahahahahahahahaha....

( Chinglish )

Ever heard of Chinglish?

Take a look at these.

You! No confused noises!

They're not kidding.

Hey! No sneaking nukes around here!

If you step on it, it will frown - we don't want that.

That's a tough one to follow, in my experience.

( Pain of the back )

Recovering from a very bad injury.
The suffering over the past few years had caught up with me.
Now i'm lying on my bed, thinking whether I can ever play sports anymore.
Thats the worse nightmare i can ever have.
I'm going thru this alone.
I need no sympathy from anyone.
The pain is in me, I dont need you to feel MY pain.
This is a warning to all of you.
Never ever, carry anything that you cant handle.
I'm now the victim of this stupid injury and I have only myself to blame.
Can I ever play baseball again?
Or soccer?
Only time will tell.

( Good things do happens... )

What a day to woke up to..
Liverpool won PSV, now have to face Chelsea, sheesh...
A repeat from 2 seasons ago... Not for the faint hearted.. Wakakakaka
Staring at my screen now, wondering what to type..
Been a bz day(s) lately...
Working a final stretch till school starts..
School STARTS???
In another 72 hours or so...
Gosh, this is fast.
Life is going super fast now...
Well, we all just have to ride along with it and hope that nothing happened to us.
OK... no for the real thing...
here's a bit and pieces of what I can say abt Singaporeans now...
They're KIASU and KIASI..
No surprise there ryte?
What about,
TOO DEMANDING,
TOO ASSUMING,
TOO FRAGILE,
TOO WEAK,
TOO TALKATIVE,
TOO FORGETFUL,
TOO RIDICULOUS,
and the list goes on, with the TOO at the front.
It's not all Singaporeans, but sad to say, it could be mostly Singaporeans.
There are so many negative points about Singaporeans' social habits, eating habits etc that are really disgusting..
Take for an example, when eating, everything that were given to them to eat, can ALWAYS be found on or around the table... They dont bother to pick it up, they dont bother to inform us that they'd spilled somthing, or maybe they are just plain dumb to do so. I had an experience when I was working in Orchard one day. There a lot of westerners dining in, one of them spilled some tea on the floor. He tried to clean it up, but since there were too much for him to clean, he politely informed me abt the spill and that he was SORRY? OMG, i was smiling la... How many times do you see a Singaporean actually will do that? I can tell you, just a mere 1%. I pleasantly cleaned it for him, coz he made my day.
The rest of the westerners even throw their leftover food away at the proper trashbins, again, how many singaporeans will do this, 0.5%.
No wonder there were such people of accusing service people preferring to serve westerners than locals. It's easy to explain why, westerners are polite and respectful to people working in the service line. PERIOD.
Singaporeans have a very high expectation level, not to mention a VERY high impatience level.
When things go unsightly, they turn to their laptops(which mostly have now), go to the company's website, and 'feedback' about what the servie pple are doing, which of course, as we all will know it, complaining. Whining, indespicable beings who knows nothing but to assume thats bad.
It really pains me when things go wrong, at least to them, they should tell the higher ups, not the people directly there. Why bother telling the higher ups? At most, its just a sketchy image of the things went wrong, add in the lies and the hav too a negative image of us.
I hate it...

( Hmm, A penny for your thought. )

Oh Great Heavens, hear thy say
That the world now is in ruins
thy ask for more knowledge
for he walks the last lap
to eternal bliss of knowledge,
henceforth, thy shall part knowledge to those who craves it more
and make Earth our Eden.
Bless those who ask for more knowledge.
AMIN.
